Who is the Blogger?

My name is Noemy Banuelos. I feel blessed to have this opportunity of sharing, in a simple way, the gift of zeal God has put in my heart. A zeal for the attainment of holiness of heart; a purity of heart that penetrates souls. I desire to share ongoing reflections with my readers in an effort to contribute a single piece of lowly straw to their already burning flame of love. Along with my reflections there will be occasional guest contributors who will share their prayerful insights into this journey toward purity of heart.  I graduated from Franciscan University of Steubenville, OH. My academic degree is in English with a Writing concentration and Theology, Minor.

In 2016, by the grace of God, I found myself boarding a plane destined for Washington, DC. The reason? I was chosen to attend an inaugural Forum entitled “Given”. It was a powerful week-long immersion in faith formation, leadership training, and networking. An opportunity “given” to 300 young women from all across the nation as a way to foster their authentic feminine gift to the Church as leaders in their community. It was there that I gained a renewed zeal for the seed that had already been growing in my heart to share the Beauty of God’s Love in a way that would encourage others to embrace purity in their own heart.

“Draw me in Your footsteps, let us Run!” Song of songs 1:4 . . . Let us unite in prayer as we run the race set before us!

“May your life in that little corner of the earth be as a bonfire of love, consuming itself in the love of God and zeal for souls.” -Ven. Mother Maria Luisa of the Most Blessed Sacrament
